ABOUT OUR KARATE SCHOOL
Federation International Karate Do Amateur (FIKA USA) is a karate do Organization dedicated to teaching and promoting the tradition and values of Shotokan Karate Do and Sport Karate to kids, teennager, woman and men all age. It has been providing Instruction in the New York area since 2004.
FIKA USA has been produced Champions in life as well as in the Martial Arts.
FIKA USA is Member of the USA National Karate Do Federation (Member of United States Olympic Committee) and World Karate Federation (WKF)
FIKA USA has participated in and represented both New York and the United States in National and International Competitions since 2006.

Shihan Jorge L Falcon was born in Havana Cuba in 1956, he graduated from the University of Havana Cuba in Economics and also has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He started Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu Martial Arts in 1970 when he was 14 years old until 1978, along with the current Shihan Juan Claudio Junco.
He immigrated to the United States about 41 years ago and continued training Martial Arts, Full Contact and Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu until 1993 when he made the transition to Shotokan Ryu.
In 2003-04, he created the Falcon International Karate Do Association FIKA, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to teaching and promoting the tradition and values ​​of Shotokan Karate Do and Sport Karate.
Shihan Falcon is the Chief instructor of the Federation International Karate Do Amateur and the promoter of the FIKA USA NY Open Karate Do Tournament, a successful event that for more than 10 years has been bringing together great national and international athletes from the Olympic sports area. .
He has taken seminars with important personalities of World Karate such as Isami Shiroma Sensei JKA, Mr. Cleveland Baxter Kyoshi Chairman of USA Karate Referre Committee, PKF and WKF member of Technical Committee, Kohama Sensei Shobukan Shotokan International, William Millerson Vice President WKF and PKF.
He has been participating in National and International events since 2006 as a coach and referee of kata and kumite

Shihan Jorge L Falcon nació en La Habana Cuba en 1956, se graduó de la Universidad de La Habana Cuba en Economía y también tiene una Licenciatura en Psicología. Inició Artes Marciales Jyoshinmon Shorin Ryu en 1970 cuando tenía 14 años hasta el ano 1978, junto con el actual Shihan Juan Claudio Junco.

Luzdary Falcon
Santiago was born in Colombia in 2001 and in 2007 he emigrated to the United States with his mother and both registered at the FIKA USA school as students. He developed as an exceptional karate student and athlete beginning a career as a competitor and member of the FIKA USA competition team. The competition, his dedication and self-improvement training make him a great example for the rest of the students.
He began to win medals and trophies and to compete throughout the USA in Las Vegas, Miami, South Carolinas, New Jersey and many other cities and states.In 2015 he became the National Champion of the USA Karate and later returned to Las Vegas and the National in 2018 and 19 obtaining 2nd and 3rd place in kata and kumite.
He is currently studying the 2nd year of Music, becoming an excellent musician both in composition and on guitar and piano.
He is a member of the National Technical Commission of FIKA USA
